"Greetings, ladies!" he called out to them. More guests to his "home". Yay, new friends! The least he could do was make them feel welcome, no? "How's it goin'?"

Ridess ze Shoopuf? ** this-moments-enough
She wasn’t on Cocoon.
And she definitely wasn’t on Gran Pulse either.
Fang stood amidst a strange crowd on the bank of a river. Most were humans, more or less like her – but others… not so much.
A few were short creatures, apparently having human intelligence. They were blue, had yellow eyes, oddly shaped and damn it all – they were slow. They spoke in an odd, questioning manner that seemed to leave every decision up to those they were conversing with, and some of their words… were just… bizarre. Three others were almost human – apparently called Guado. They had turned their noses up at her as soon as they saw the huntress. Instead they had taken to murmuring and whispering to each other, all the while glancing at someone.
That someone had been this monstrous bipedal creature – a feline humanoid that had a massive white horn sprouting from his head. He said nothing, didn’t bother the guado or the strange blue creatures. He just kept walking, spear in hand.
“Mish,” Oh damn, one of the fish-folk had chosen to speak with her. Fang stared down at him. “Ridess ze shoopuf?”
“What in Etro’s name is a Shoo… what the hell is that?” Yun spat, eyes now fixated on a massive elephantine creature. It had pale, grey-blue skin and a curled trunk. It wasn’t ugly per say, but it wasn’t like anything Fang had seen before. She took a step back, accidentally bumping into someone.
Yun gave the woman a glance, offering a sheepish smile. "Heh, sorry - didn't mean to bump into ya."
this-moments-enough entered the cafe.
The barista is rather surprised his line of customers isn't flooding out the door. Unfortunately, the only other person who worked the cafe was likely at school, and he was not about to call him into work just for this.
"Welcome to the WildKat. Is there anything I can getcha?"
