Poor Ash suffers with me. In her own words “I can’t tell you anything, because you’ll guess.” She mostly types a lot of “HMMM” and “Can’t say anything!” and “All very interesting ideas”, or else suffers in silence while I ramble about my theories.
As of right now, though, I’m helping cut Light, After (the livewrite) into Light, After (the MiMo), and because I’ve already read all of it, I haven’t run into any spoilers. Yet. Anyway, most of what I cut out was domestic bliss, and I had a good idea of what would be important for the plot and had to be kept in.
Now if you’re looking for a clever cookie in the fandom, I’d say @cephalopodqueen has a real great knack for Good Questions.

The Max Brooks books (The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z) explain Zombies as infected by Solanum while comparing it to rabies’ pathology in the introduction. World War Z goes further and refers to it as African Rabies in many places where the outbreak began, where no one had a name for it yet.
