Thank you ♥ I really didn’t like having to write it, but it felt necessary. Callout culture, while theoretically rooted in a desire to protect the vulnerable from the potentially dangerous, has morphed into something so toxic I can’t stomach it. I’m glad I’m not alone in this feeling.

It took me eight episodes to realize Yurio reminds me of Nicaise

for better or for worse I made that particular connection 0.00043 seconds into episode one. LOOKS LIKE LAURENT, ACTS LIKE NICAISE. a terrifying combination that nevertheless makes me want to leap at him with a warm blanket and a voucher for many, many sessions of psychological therapy.
