LSM's Curator of Costumes & Textiles and Curator of Carnival, Wayne Phillips, recently loaned items to the Historic New Orleans Collection (THNOC) for their latest exhibit entitled "Goods of Every Description: Shopping in New Orleans, 1825-1925." This exhibition celebrates New Orleans shopping traditions from the city's golden age to the roaring twenties. Pictures do not do these artifacts justice, so you won't want to miss this exciting showcase. An opening reception at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the THNOC (533 Royal, NOLA) celebrates this wonderful exhibition which runs now through April 9, 2017.
