The Hand of Fate - Shower Scene

Thee Hand ov Fate 8-5-18: Shamanic Enchantment

Did a red meal for my fetch (double? Fairy lover? I dunno, I’m not up on my trad terms). I didn't have wine or bread so I used whiskey, beef, and corn tortillas instead as I figured nightshade/flesh/corn serves similar enough purposes to be effective.  I was really, really drunk for the ritual (been drinking since 11 am, whoops) and used a bit of Datura ointment. I then did my usual process for a red meal - dug a pit, drew the Sator table (minus the mawkin), stripped, read the rite, ate, and then laid down on the blanket to look at the stars while quietly chanting, “Come to me, for I am you and you are me”. This time around I didn’t do any sort of banishing before or after, dunno why but it didn’t seem appropriate.

After a while the branches of the tree began looking like a man with very long arms and legs crouching looking down at me. This spooked me quite a bit especially because as I noticed it, someone fired a .22 and my livestock guardian dog started barking. It solidified into a more normally proportioned shadowy man and I instantly knew it was me-but-not-me. It floated down to me and we grabbed each others faces incredibly hard and kissed as it started lifting me out of my body. I was shining bright and silver and ghostly. I regurgitated what looked like quicksilver down his throat and he did the same to me with viscous inky liquid. We kept doing that for a really long time while floating above my body under the tree while the neighbors kept firing guns. My perspective kept shifting between his POV and my own which was really disorienting and made me feel nauseated.  I don’t remember much after that except laying on the grass outside the goat pen and the silvery me walking into the barn and telling the dog that it was ok, it was just me and he could go to sleep now. He didn’t bark anymore after that.   

I don’t really remember what happened between then and getting back into my body but eventually my familiar showed up and I fed him. He was feeling quite cheeky and tried to eat me but two can play that game and I’m not the one with a binding on me. I let him out and he and I left on good terms.
