what would my muse consider a “perfect gift”?
“it depends on the person i’m with”, i can almost hear thomas saying, while he daydreams. perfect gifts in his opinion aren’t exactly material things. sometimes a quiet night or evening alone somewhere private would mean so much more than a book or a potions kit. as long as the person he’s with is smiling, then that’s the perfect gift.

he does, actually.
it’s not like he’s been in love or/and is experienced on that field, but he believes good things come up when you’re nice to the ones you care about, so he would definitely become some kind of hopeless romantic when/if he likes someone.
i believe thomas isn’t the kind of boy who would jump on top of the tables of the great hall professing his love or one to get thousands of roses just for the person he cares to feel loved but instead he would pay attention to small details, like a favorite song or book, and would try to come up with something related to that.
he’s a quiet romantic on the making,let’s say that.

how does my muse act/react when they first realize that they had a crush on somebody?
thomas is most likely to hide at first. probably pretend that wasn’t happening to him, blame it on the weather, on lack of food or sleep. quite possibly because he cannot accept that feelings like that should belong to him, he would avoid them at all costs, but in the end, he ends up being more obvious, either by becoming closer and overprotective with the object of his affection or showing signs of jealousy over the smallest things. when it gets unbearable he could hypothetically drop hints of his interest to the person, but i believe what’s obvious for him might not be for the person he’s targetting.
