Hey wagon company, if it came down to it which of you would you say has the best chance of flirting you out of a messy situation? I want an answer from everyone, first impressions only no thoughts allowed
Logan and Patton: Dee
Dee and Thomas: Me.
Dee: You’re that confident you would say yourself?
Thomas is the type where if you get him like one of those stuffed dogs they sell stuff stores he'll be like "haha, that's really cute." But secretly fall in love with it the moment he lays eyes on it and cherish it (and you) forever.
He's a dog person.
Thomas has been playing the ukulele for around five years and it's still something he loves, his ukulele is named Sally (the same name as the muns uke!)
Thomas has a fear of people helping him, and when they try he tends to lash, yell, and have an all over temper tantrum without meaning to, showing he's not quite the adult he acts to be.
He was adopted by a nice Baker at the age of twelve, he loves his father very much and helps out at the bakery when summer is over.
He a counselor for assaulting another student (breaking they're arm and punching them specifically) due to them making sexual comments and death threats at a friend of his. He doesn't think he should've lashed out like he did and is not at all the violent type.
He has absolutely horrible vision and needs a guide without his glasses, if they're off too long he'll have a panic attack due to everyone being so blurry.
He is 5'2 and a half and as a fully grown adult he grows to 5'4 the small height comes from his mother, one who he no longer has contact with.
He looks up to his older counselors, but refuses to show it to look like more of an adult.
He has a tendency to wake up at 4-5 and stay up, taking the time to jog around the camp to lower his stress levels.
Hey Thomas! Have you experimented any more with magic?
(Thomas is stretching as he answers.)
Thomas: Not really. I did accidentally do the Dancing Lights again because I was holding the wand and got to thinking about the spell. They spooked me when they materialized in front of me.
Hey wagon company, have any of you ever changed up your style since you were a kid? As in, dying your hair, changing your signature outfit, etc.
Logan: I’ve gone through many. It’s inevitable for someone to change their style of dress at some point in their life. That being said, I’ve experimented with both style and hair variations for a time in my youth, yes.
Dee: I’ve worn and looked like this since the day I was born.
Thomas: I’ve worn a lot of different things, being the prince then king. Outfits of a king have to be balanced between recognizable and new. You don’t want your subjects to think the nation is in decline by wearing something a lot or to the point of having to patch it up.
I dyed my hair purple at the front in my teens because I was a little rebellious as a teen, but still managed to treat my parents with some respect by not doing my whole head. I wore a hat for as long as I could to try to hide the change until I couldn’t do that anymore.
(Thomas chuckles.)
Thomas: You should’ve seen my dad’s face when the hat was torn off my head. He looked like he might have fainted right then and there from the sight of head. It was hysterical even then.
Patton: I haven’t changed my style much since I’ve been out on my own. Though that’s not for lack of ability, I do have some skills to patch my own things up every once and a while. But other than that I never changed much.
Can we see times where everyone (Roman, Remus, Patton, Virgil, Logan, Dee, Thomas, Mr. Dad, Cassandra) have genuinely laughed? It doesn't have to be long, just....... like, how do they laugh? Cuz everyone has a different laugh - duck anon
Roman: Hearty laugh, he laughs almost how you would imagine a mighty King to laugh. The stereotypical full sound filled with joy and makes you want to at least crack a smile whenever you hear it.
Remus: Depends on his mood, when he’s with Virgil, his laughs are gentle and usually loving, but when he’s not latched onto Virgil, he cackles like a maniac. Similar to Roman except it’s more like a deranged evil king. Not many have heard Remus’s gentle laugh, as he’s only ever done it around his family and Virgil.
Patton: Patton’s laugh is like a thunderclap, whenever something fun happens, his voice goes from 0 to 100 in no time flat. It’s loud, but without intending to be. It’s a mix of the typical dad laugh and an constant giggling, sometimes a combination of both at once
Virgil: Virgil’s laugh is much more subtle, like the distant rumble of thunder in a storm rather than a sudden clap. However when something is WAY too funny, Virgil has the tendency to honk, though it’s never usually more than one honk as he almost always catches himself in embarrassment when he does.
Logan: Logan’s laugh is often monotone without him meaning to, it was a joke with his family until Logan realized that the laugh became his true laugh after such a long running joke. He’s gotten himself back to be able to laugh your average laugh recently, but wants it to be perfect before he lets anyone else hear it. His is your average laugh when he isn’t stuck in the monotone one.
Janus: Janus’s laugh is short, almost a barking or hissing laugh based on how hard he’s laughing. The classic spray bottle sounding laugh also applies when something is utterly hilarious. Like Logan, never really lets people hear his laugh.
Thomas: Thomas laughs like actual Thomas does, a half giggle sort of laugh.
Cassandra: In normal situations, her laugh is average and traditional, nothing abnormal about it. But when she needs not worry, all bets are off with her laugh, from evil witch cackling to outright deranged, she’s laughed that way.
???: His laugh feels warm, comforting, like a warm blanket around you. You can’t really describe how it sounds other than gentle or joyful. His laugh just feels... right.
Toilet Overgod, what is something big Thomas has done in the last 5-10 years? - duck anon
He’s done many things:
He’s told you about diplomatic missions to other cities and places in the name of peace and amicable intercity relationships.
He’s helped a more direct redirect of a small portion of the nearby river to have a better water source for Rótaldë. (A point in the diplomatic mission as it feeds other settlements downstream.)
Thomas assisted the fairly small orphaned population (10-15 children at max) by establishing a house that could more or less be considered and orphanage.
Quashed a small slave trade place. Some of the people sold before he got there were parents of the orphans, which is why they were orphans. :(((
But a big thing he’s done is bringing from a slightly productive kingdom to a bursting, thriving kingdom. He has a knack and talent for leading the kingdom into flourishing by his citizens. Implementation of different farming techniques and strategic water usage as well as a modification of the method of sentencing as well as policy and law changes had brought theft cases and arrests down, making Rótaldë happier and richer.
Thomas was/is a natural-born leader with a great eye for how to solve a problem
Hey logan, what did that message sewn on Thomas’s bag mean? Did you come up with it?
(Logan smiles with the very corner of his lips. His yellow and silver eyes seeming misty as if a film of tears are threatening to fall, again, odd because a teifling does not need to tear up and have no tear ducts.)
Logan: Thomas had been having bad dreams when he was very young, around 5-7, so one night he got up in the middle of the night and crept out of his room, sneaking around the palace. I found him staring off out a window as the sun came up, his eyes dropping and head lolling because of how tired he was.
(Logan chuckles lightly and with much fondness)
Logan: He was trying so hard to stay awake, I suppose to watch the sun rise, that he didn’t notice me approaching from behind despite the fact I never softened my footsteps in my approach.
Logan: He looked up at me and looked terrified. He probably thought I was going to chastise him or bring him back to his room telling him to ‘not wander around the castle this late at night’ as others may have.
Logan: But I didn’t. I simply sat beside him, watching the sun rise with him. He didn’t notice at the time, but he leaned on me more and more as the sun rose and by the time it was fully up above the horizon, he had fallen asleep on me.
Logan: I took him back to his room, careful not to wake him and put him to bed, informing his parents of what he had done, which they both collectively groaned and chuckled at.
Logan: As for the promise, one of his close friends died and he was devastated. He came crying to me and wouldn’t let go of my leg because he didn’t want me to leave him too. I told him I promised to never leave him ever again. And he said that his friend had promised they would play with him, but they had broken their promise because they weren’t there anymore, so what good was a promise if his friend could just leave him?
Logan: So then I got one knee to be at eye level with him and asked him if he remembered watching the sunrise with me. He nodded, tears dripping down his face and was still shuddering from crying, grabbing at me to pull me close. I then asked him if he expected me to do what I did. And he shook his head.
Logan: I then told him if you focus on the ways some things might go badly, you miss when good things might happen. His eyes filled with hope and he asked me ‘like the sunrise?’ And I told him to ‘Promise on the sunrise, my starlight, and you’ll go far.’
Logan: And he started crying again, which I thought was because he was sad so I told him not to be sad, to which he said through shuddering breaths ‘I’m not sad! I’m happy you're my sunrise!’
Logan: I was so touched and held him until he tuckered himself out and fell asleep in my arms. That time, I was too scared to move for fear of waking him up, so it wasn’t till an hour or two later that a guard found us that I finally had to move and return him to where he needed to be, unfortunately meaning he had to be awoken.
Logan: Shortly after that on his eight birthday, I got him a bag of holding (despite his parents insistence that it was unecessary) I sewed the sentence into, as a reminder of the lesson I taught him. He was so happy about it, he wanted to customize his bag of holding like me as well. So, he snuck some paint from somewhere in the palace and painted a star on the bag.
Logan: He was covered in paint as he ran up to me he showed me what he did, which horrified his parents as the outfit was brand new for his birthday. He said that he drew a star on the bag because he was my starlight and the sun was a star, so he said it could also be the sunrise like I was.
Logan: And it appears he never forgot our promise, always keeping it by his side.
(Once Logan’s story finished, you hear a soft crying nearby and see Thomas bawling his eyes out with Patton trying to comfort him. Logan was apparently too wrapped up in the story to notice, as he whips his head to look at Thomas. Thomas looks up and sees that Logan is looking at him and rushes towards him, slamming into him and crying into Logan’s shoulder. Dee is initially alarmed and goes for his dagger, but stops when he sees what Thomas was doing. Logan initially stiffens, but then embraces Thomas back, soothing him gently. Patton pats Thomas on his back, hoping to calm him)
Logan: Sh... it’s okay, just let it out...
(Between gasps, Thomas gets out, exclaiming desperately a point)
Thomas: You cared so much! And they-! Aaaaahhhh! *hiccup* I forgot how much I missed you!
