The series finale for Space Above and Beyond aired on June 2, 1996. The series only ran for one season of 23 episodes. The peace talks began with the Chig ambassador on the USS Saratoga. Consensus: Probably would have died if I was watching that last scene live. The rest was good too.

Like the Lone Gunmen, which was cancelled after one season, Millinium was allowed to finish its story on the X-Files with the episode titled "Millinium" that aired November 28, 1999.
