It's hard to say which of The Mars Volta's albums is my favorite, but Bedlam In Goliath is the one I listen to the most. Its production, the explosive chaos, songwriting choices...it all feels like it's barrelling towards an inevitable doom and I don't know if any of the other albums have exactly that vibe. Tourniquet Man is the only song I'd consider"mellow," but it still feels unsettled.

Since I have mentioned dillinger escape plans, Alice in chains and Mastodon. Have you heard Ben, Brent and Williams collaboration project???? With the drummer from The Mars Volta!! And bassist who've played with Zappa plays Zappa and dethklok!! This is very good. Love the song and loving the band.
