Thomas the Engine Cake
I made this 3D Thomas the Engine Cake for the first time. Although I have made lots and lots of birthday cakes as you can see in my Cakes post, I have to admit that 3D Thomas cake is the hardest one as it has so many details. Here is the final product. The hard work was paid off when I saw the happy and excited faces of the children including birthday boy Hayden. It is a chocolate cake with buttercream, covered with all hand-mounded fondant.

I am watching my little cousins right now and they had a "Thomas and Friends" DVD. I haven't seen this in a minute dude! This was one of my favorite shows when I was little!
