Thomas Verses
Scout for Survival- Covers all the time Thomas spends in the Whalers from recruitment to the time Daud leaves. Will include my headcanon that Connor- one of the summonable assassins in the DLCs- is his brother unless otherwise requested. May be mildly canon-divergent, but is mostly just canon-indifferent, as there’s hardly any information about Thomas to begin with so it gives me lots of room to play.
Scattering Whalers- In Daud’s absence (after either his death, his canon disappearance, or his Sands of Serkonos-verse retirement), Thomas tries to keep the Whalers together. In the “Daud lost his hand" Sands of Serkonos variation, the Whalers may retain their abilities, if they managed to find or reclaim Daud’s hand, which, in turn, may make it easier to keep the group together. Connor acts as his second, but often voices the very worries he has himself. Depending on the variation, may be mostly canon-compliant or entirely canon-divergent.
Streets of Karnaca- Very canon-divergent, but compliant with the Daud verse of the same name. Thomas, his brother Connor (see headcanons for that), and several other Whalers follow Daud when he moves to Karnaca after Corvo spares his life. The same variations as Daud's Streets of Karnaca apply.
In variation one, Corvo spares Daud’s life exactly as depicted in canon, and, when Daud leaves Dunwall, most of the Whalers join him, functioning exactly as they had in Dunwall, just… in Karnaca now. Daud and all Whalers retain their abilities, and Thomas remains Daud’s Second.
In variation two, Corvo spares Daud’s life, but removes his Marked left hand. With the loss of their Void connection and abilities, only a handful of the most loyal Whalers -including Thomas and Connor- follow Daud to Karnaca. They rebuild with flesh and steel and ingenuity, and likely aim to reclaim Daud’s hand from Corvo. Thomas reclaims his role as a scout, as, due to their smaller group size and more dangerous jobs, he’s needed more in that position than as Daud’s second.
