“I didn’t just imagine it! It was there, I swear!”

Green eyes quickly glanced into the darkness extending past them in the catacombs but she could see no glimpse of what had spooked her witchy friend. Turning back to Thomas she grabbed his hand tugging him closer to the light of the lantern as she used her magic to cast a wider range of light around them. She could tell by the look in his eyes he really think he saw something and who was she to judge to the boy or not believe him? Putting a finger to his lips to quiet him she quickly whipped out of her phone. 

‘Thomas, what was it? What did you see?’  The trek for spell ingredients had seemed an easy one until the other had begun to get agitated the further they went into the catacombs and now she was beginning to worry. 

‘Whatever it is, it won’t hurt you.’ Comforting words though she didn’t know just how true they were in this situation.

begonia :   how cautious is your muse ?   are they prone to noticing red flags ,   or paranoid to the point of untrusting most everyone ?   why or why not ?  

 It really depends on the subject matter. Katarina can be  cautious when it comes to  meeting new people or going to new places alone, especially the latter. She dislikes crowded places and new experiences finding them to more often than not be too overwhelming so in that regard she’s extremely cautious. The same goes for new people, past experiences have left her jaded when it comes to meeting new people and feeling instantly comfortable with them. She tends to be cautious and guarded often silently observing them to see if she can get a read on them before delving further into aa relationship. She’s not paranoid or untrusting, she just doesn’t trust quickly.

Shorty | Thomas & Joohyun

(Left over from Sunday!)

“Hey, crawl in there. You fit in there, shorty.”

Joohyun grumbled as she lowered her body down on the ground. “ I’m not that short! I’m 5’2 and a half! Thats average height” The enchanted doll didn’t know this person but he asked for help and she was nice enough to help but now she might be regretting it.

“How did your phone even get down here?” her knees sinking into the ground she lowered her body even more as she tried to reach into the crawl space that was just under the academy building. Her jeans already getting dirty and her shirt riding up as she stretched out her arms but it was no use she couldn’t grab a hold of the missing item. “Okay I guess I have to actually crawl in”

"Hey Sir- eh..." he frowns for a moment and then clears his throat "I think I left my alchemy books here?"

Jaejoong was stretching up to grab a book from his bookshelf, balancing unnaturally on the back two legs of his chair, before letting out a yelp of surprise.

“OH! Hi there!” He shouted, as the book he was aiming for tumbled and landed on his head, before chuckling, and dusting himself off, while replacing the books on his desk.

“Thomas, right? I think you did, actually!” He smiled before walking quickly behind his desk, opening a drawer and producing a pile of textbooks. Walking back around, he casually flicked through the first few pages, before smiling and holding out the books.

“You outta be more careful, there. These were nearly packed away with them!” He chuckled as he pointed to his very packed bookshelf. “I don’t think you’d see them again if they ended up there!”

Jae smiled. “Also, please don’t call me Sir. Just call me Jae.”

Raise the dead|Thomas&Joohyun

Joohyun had a skip in her step as she ran outside onto the academy grounds. She was meeting a new friend and she couldn’t be more excited. The doll had met Thomas in her Ancient Runes class a couple of days ago when he was assigned to help her with a project she was having trouble with. It was then she learned that Thomas was a healer which interested the doll to no end. After drowning the male with questions during the class they decided to meet after their classes were over.

It was a chilly day, as the wind picked up Joohyun clutched her sweater closer to her body to get a bit more warmth. ‘by the big rock’ She mumbled to herself as she tried to make her way to the clearing where they decided to meet up. She was excited to learn more about healers. The doll hoped if she asked nicely enough if he would be willing to show her his healing ability. When she finally saw the rock she looked around but didn’t see the familiar face so walked over to the rock to wait for him to show up.

i heard you crying.

Well, obviously. At the time, Jinwoo has been too caught up in feeling everything and nothing at once to realize how loud and disruptive to the public he had been. After calming down and approaching a moment of clarity, he realized, and that’s when the other approached. That distinct taste of voice was unmistakable. Despite the past, though, maple syrup wasn’t as bad as it.. used to be.

“I’m sure.” He grumbled, but didn’t feel like apologizing. He had calmed down, hadn’t he? “It’s over.” He commented forwardly about his recent fit, not enlightening to any details. @thomas-ia

🚪 Tap on a table/door/wall/chair to get my muse’s attention without speaking

Jinwoo reached out to tap on the table, hoping to gain the attention of the guy he knew sat on the other side. He picked up his open bag and pointed to it, showing it’s obvious emptiness. It was hard to tell what he was asking. To borrow a pencil? To ask if said person stole his missing pencils? To show off his fancy studded pencil bag? Who truly knew.

The witch walked into the library yawning and mumbling something about there being too many demons in this place before he sits down next to the new kid and opens his laptop. "Hey-" he whispers at the stranger, white veins framing his hazel eyes as he looks the other in the eyes "Do you have ancient runes as well?"

Given all the creatures he’d managed to at least glance within his life, the white veins around the sudden newcomer’s eyes didn’t faze him. He assumed it was natural more than anything, though being randomly sat next to in the library hadn’t exactly been anticipated. Still, he angled his body toward the other and gave him a smile, chin propped on his fist. “I don’t, no. Just lots of tech-y-ish classes. Do you need help looking for something?” It wasn’t like he was the librarian or anything, but two sets of eyes were better than one.
