Thomas made Vincent a skin mask, and Vincent made Thomas a wax mask- what are eatch of their reactions? (Dealers choice who the base for each mask were....)

I think their reactions would be very different,but they would both be grateful towards the other.

Vincent would be touched by the gesture,but a bit disgusted by the bloody human skin mask. I think due to his deformation,let's call it,his skin is very delicate and gets easily infected,the guy literally misses an eye,so he definitely couldn't wear the mask directely on his face even if he wanted to. However,I could see him melting wax in the inside of it to be able to use it. This way,only the wax is touching his face,but he's still wearing Thomas' gift,which makes Thomas so extremely happy.

About Thomas,he's so grateful. Will immediately ditch his old mask and start wearing the one Vincent gave him. The wax on his skin feels so much better than his usual skin masks,and this doesn't even rot! He's so glad that even after wearing the mask for a few days in the Texas heat,it doesn't start to smell and fall apart. He hated when it happened. He has a pretty strong resistance from bad smells,but he can only take so much. So this madk is a real life saver to him. But he will be very upset and sorry if it melts or breaks while he works. Thomas does a lot of hard wprk out in the sun,the mask was bound to get ruined,but he fells so guilty for ruining Vincent's creation,and he's scared he'll be mad. So relieved when Vincent just melts the wax and makes him a new mask. He nearly cries. It's one of the first times he didn't get yelled at for a mistake,and he feels so good,it's overwhelming. He holds Vincent just a bit tighter than usual when he goes for an hug after.

Speaking of my Thomas x Vincent ship, I imagine them first meeting when Bo, Vincent, and Lester are on the run from the law (in this AU they survived the fire) and ending up at the Hewitt house. At first the Hewitt's think they're just gonna kill them, but eventually they find out exactly why the three brothers are on the run and Luda genuinely ends up feeling bad for them, especially because the Sinclair's never judge the Hewitt's living conditions or how they do things. Eventually they decide to let the Sinclair brothers stay with them, even if it's only for a little while.

Vincent immediately catches Thomas's eye, mainly because of his mask and quiet personality. One day, maybe a few months after the Sinclair brothers first arrival, Thomas ends up finding one of the few small wax sculptures Vincent was able to save from Ambrose and he's immediately amazed by how much detail is put into it. He doesn't immediately confront Vincent about it, still weary about the newcomers, but he does make sure to add wax and sculpting tools to his list of things to get next time he has the chance.
