Death comes for even the brightest stars.

Thop1 spoilers below.

This isn't great. But I need to post more things.

The twins are curled are up together after the events burning maze on the plane. Leaning against eachother. Artemis is curled into Apollo's chest. She's been crying. She's listening to Apollo's heartbeat reminding herself that he's alive. At least she saved him.

She can't make any sound other than stranged choking gasps. Her throat aches.

She couldn't speak while they were burning Thalia's shroud. Covered in stars and her moon, and embrodiered with lightning.

Artemis couldn't even put Thalia in the stars.

She couldn't honor her fallen lieutenant.

Apollo's arms are around her, holding her against him.

He's already cried.

Artemis is clinging to him.

She's scared. She's so scared.

She wants her mom.

She misses Zoë.

Jason is sitting nearby with Meg, talking quietly.

He feels guilty. Blames himself. Thalia died in his place.

Thalia died to save him.

Artemis is afraid.

She doesn't want anyone else to die.

Her hair is cut short and uneven, sliced off with a sloppy blade.

Apollo pets her hair, and Artemis is crying again.

She wants to go home.

She can't believe Thalia's gone.

…Well okay then.

I found him, hunched over his corpse. Crying. Dripping with water and soaked.

I took him away from the body. He couldn't look at it.

He was inconsolable.

I stayed with him, but he wouldn’t explain his actions. He clammed up whenever he started talking.

He was a mess.

It wasn't like when Hyacinthus was murdered. At all.

He seemed far away, detached. Mother talked with him, I wasnt there for that. After he seemed a bit better. 

He didn't take another lover for.. a long time after.

I dont know.
