The plot:
Thor as a House Guest
Lots of people have already pointed out that in the beginning of the game when he comes to Kratos' house, Thor is a surprisingly polite house guest. He asks permission to enter. He brings a gift. He sits where he's told to and he talks first before fighting and doesn't even drink in the house.
But few have figured out how he came to be that way... Most people assume it's just Sif who taught him but there's actually a deeper reason.
Remember the Hammer Fall favor in the first Norse saga game?
We meet a spirit who asks us to bring down a statue of Thor for a reward, but it's their story that I want to focus on.
When the spirit's father died, his mother built that statue of Thor above his grave to watch over it. Thor came down to offer his condolences. The mother invited him in but he was a poor guest. He overstayed his welcome, got drunk and killed her while drunk.
Thor actually regretted that deeply. That's why his behaviour in Kratos' house is so unusually opposite to his normal behaviour. He was always trying to change.

Baldur definitely has a scar somewhere on his body from an accident that happened when he was a newborn baby before Freya made that spell on him. She definitely left Baldur to Odin or Thor, Heimdall, Tyrs so she could go visit the Norns. One of them definitely dropped Baldur and when Freya came back and saw the scar on Baldur she raged and definitely scolded whoever dropped Baldur. And he still carries it today and Freya feels hurt whenever she sees it. Thank you. Have a great night i just cant stop thinking about my beloved wife.
