I have seen a few people shipping Freya and Faye which is interesting so I thought I’d draw them together. I was originally going to draw the story of when Freya mentioned to Kratos she met Faye at some point. So like a younger Freya and Faye in armor but I didn’t have enough time.
Alright how would the God of War characters react to reader wanting to cuddle?

Mostly because the only time you have to demand cuddles is in the evening when he’s already lying down to sleep.
His favorite position is lying on his back with you on his chest.
Mostly cause he can embrace you and play with your hair to relax himself.
So when you crawl into bed beside him and snuggle your face into his neck, it's already convenient.
He likes how warm you feel against him, and it helps him get comfortable with you sleeping against his side.
Yet he doesn't mind if you're not in the mood or if it's too hot to cuddle up.
Don't let that indifference fool you, though.
If you get into bed and don't give him a reason behind why there's more than an inch between you, he'll think you're mad at him.
So just make sure to let him know if you're not in a cuddly mood, and he'll be fine just to lie beside you and let you rest.
Communication is key.
More often than not, he'll wake up with you curled against his side anyway.
However, every now and then, when something upsets you, and you just need a little cuddle from your emotional support Spartan, he'll drop what he's doing and snuggle the hell out of you.

It's not a raunchy or sexual request, but the red in his cheeks every time you ask would make you think it was.
He'll give you a shy grin and nod enthusiastically.
His awkward clumsiness truly shines every time you two try and settle into a position.
You'd think that the longer your relationship lasts, the more used to it he'd get.
Nope.
Every. Single. Time.
Once you're comfortable, he's having the time of his life.
His favorite position is when you sit in his lap, facing him, rest your head on his shoulder, and hug him.
It feels like such a massive upgrade from a regular hug.
It just feels so innocently intimate.
His heart can't take it when you fall asleep like that.
If he has a chore to take care of or if someone asks him to do something, he can't.
He refuses to wake you up so he can leave.
It feels like a crime.
It will have to wait.

But regardless, he can't say no to that face.
So he'll grumble about you going all lovey-dovey on him while you have to manhandle him where you want him.
He toortate it cause he thinks it's cute when you grumble back at him with something along the lines of, "shut up and deal with ot," or, "just love me already."
If you fall asleep, he will absolutely move like a sloth to get you off him without waking you, to sneak back to his forge.
He'll just grin and bear it with you, track him down to flick his forehead and scold him for it.
There's no malice in any of it.
He's just not a cuddler.
He doesn't really have a favorite.
But if he had to choose, it'd be spooning.
That's the easiest to slip out of.

The second you make eye contact, he knows he's in for it.
7/10 times, he's not in the mood, and he'll just brush you off.
2/10 times, he'll just let it happen.
1/10 times, the man is low-key stressed, and he needs a good cuddle, so he's 100% down.
The man is a big spoon to match the big ego.
When you get him to agree to a cuddle sesh, it's almost always him spooing you.
But when he's feeling romantic, he'd rather embrace you and be able to see your face.
He is a secret softie, so once in a blue moon, he'll pull you against him and smooch and cuddle the day away.
He likes it a lot more than he did a first when you fall asleep in his arms.
He surprised himself when he watched you sleep in his arms for the first time, and he felt euphoric.
But he's never and will never tell you that.
That depth to that secret softie side of him is a secret even to you.

It's just another reminder that he can't feel the heat of you against him.
Can't smell the petals from your bath on your skin.
Can't feel the way your fingers absentmindedly trace the patterns of his tattoos.
It's torture, and he'll more often than not save himself the pain and turn you down.
But he still adores you, so every now and then, when you seem like you really need it, he'll give in and give you anything you want.
