cinder/thorne headcanons pt 3

- at her wedding, thorne walks her down the aisle

- he helps her with e v e r y t h i n g

- like seriously, her dress, jewels, ring, all of it

- and he helps kai too, because he “wants to make sure cinder gets the wedding she deserves”

- he’s more overprotective of her than kai

- if another guy looks in her direction he flips them off. cinder has to remind him that he’s being hypocritical. he refuses to care

- at the same time cinder is super protective of him

- like if someone touches him she goes into full older-sister mode

- he told her about a girl who trashed his heart once. she swears she has no idea why there’s graffiti all over that girl’s house

- they know each others’ food orders by heart. like you name the place, they know the order

- which is super convenient because any time one of them is ordering food they don’t have to bother calling to check if the other wants any

- rampion crew game night is the most dangerous thing ever if the two of them get really involved. meaning always. don’t ask why jenga is banned

- as a joke, cinder gave thorne a stuffed dragon for his birthday. he sleeps with it every night. she pretends not to know

cinder and thorne headcanons part 4

part 4!!! i’m sorry i didn’t write these for so long, but i’m back 

- cinder’s favourite dessert is thorne’s brownies. she swears nobody can make them like he can, even though he gave the recipe to all the chefs in the palace

- when thorne and cress fight, thorne goes to luna to stay with cinder

- the two of them are constantly quoting vines. nobody else knows what they mean

- they get into frequent fights with scarlet, who believes tiktok is better than vine. nobody else on board understands what they’re arguing about

- scarlet introduces them to sitcoms. cinder’s favourite is family ties because she loves the concept of a real, functional family. thorne’s favourite is fresh prince because will smith

- thorne hates the dark because it reminds him of when he was blind. whenever he has to go somewhere completely dark he clings on to cinder

- they got matching tattoos once because kai didn’t want any and thorne volunteered. they have a tiny tattoo that looks like a window from a jail cell

- cinder also got a peony behind her ear. when thorne found out why, he did too

- cinder always looks into an imaginary camera or crowd whenever she and thorne are having a conversation (the office style)

- cinder and thorne use dark mode. kai and cress are completely baffled by this

- they’re ridiculously competitive and use it to their advantage. cinder won’t eat because she’s busy you dipshit? thorne makes it a competition to see who can finish lunch first. thorne refuses to go out for a walk because who cares what the hell? cinder makes it a race. it’s the only way they can get each other to have healthy coping mechanisms

- that being said, there’s absolutely nothing they won’t compete over. iko’s affections? baking skills? picking tonight’s movie? nobody even bothers trying anymore

- cinder is a weirdly good photographer. thorne makes her take pictures for his instagram. she reluctantly agrees, but secretly enjoys it

- thorne has no concept of new vs old memes. they’ll be having a meme-off and he’ll reference bad luck brian, loss.jpg, and the office all in one breath

- cinder is an educated memer, and she is properly horrified by thorne’s inability to properly reference memes. she sits him down one day and goes through each era of memes. he continues messing it up to annoy her

- he always catches her if she’s going to fall. if she’s in saving distance, he’ll save her, even if he has to jump over a lunar ambassador to do it

cinder/thorne headcanons

- they flirt like nobody’s business just because they can

- they quote all the “couples lines” from movies (’i love you’ ‘i know’) 

- they have a competition to see whose partner gets jealous first. it only works once because after that cress and kai just give up 

- they have a party every year on the anniversary of when they met/broke out of jail. nobody else is invited

- cinder tends to hit him with her metal arm a lot

- they give each other relationship advice

- their texts are basically meme dumps and “HELP WHY IS CRESS NOT TALKING TO ME” “IDK BUT I SCREWED THINGS UP WITH KAI”

- the only time he ever gets upset at her is when she overexerts herself. when he found out she wasn’t sleeping he rearranged the schedule of the entire castle just to make sure she had time to rest

- cinder is the only person who knows how insecure he really is

- thorne and iko go clothes shopping together. cinder complains that iko spends more time with him than with her. he suggests that she come with them to spend some quality time. this results with thorne getting slapped across the face with a metal hand

- they have monthly movie marathons. neither of them have stopped quoting pirates of the caribbean for the past 6 weeks send help

- they have a running gag where thorne gives her magnets for her arm on every possible gift-giving occasion

- they have started a meme contest where they each try to out-meme the other. unfortunately, this is on the rampion crew group chat. they have both been removed multiple times. winter, who has a soft spot for cinder, adds her back in, and she adds thorne back in. the cycle continues

- they do a looooot of cosplay together

- thorne thinks of himself as captain jack sparrow. he won’t tolerate anything besides “captain thorne”

cinder/thorne headcanons pt 2

- she teaches him how to be a mechanic because carswell thorne if i get ONE more 3 am call because you messed up some wiring on the rampion i’m confiscating it as royal property

- they have heated debates about everything

- they once stopped talking for a week because they were so divided over aragorn vs legolas (cinder went with aragon, thorne with legolas)

- he found old pictures from her emo stage and has never let her forget it

- like he printed out an old picture of her with dyed-black hair, choppy bangs, the works, and had it put on a cake once

- she still listens to emo music, and he admits it’s good

- the rest of the rampion crew is sick of listening to them talk “emo rock band nonsense” as scarlet put it

- thorne is surprisingly good at baking. cinder is not. 

- he leaves little desserts for her “anonymously.” everyone knows it’s him, but cinder threatened to stab anyone who mentions it

- before cinder and kai got married, 90% of the tabloids thought she and thorne were dating. when she and kai got engaged, it caused an uproar

- cinder once let him cut her hair into a pixie cut. it didn’t end well
