“not gonna lie this feels like some sort of cosmic joke but I actually found some chocolate. terrible advent calendar chocolate but chocolate. so if you want that i can actually give you it.” honestly the fact that everyone asked for chocolate despite the fact they never had it was a meme to him at this point since he was the one who dealt with that sort of thing usually. them actually having it was amazingly ridiculous.

kieran looked over at his lover, eyes drawn to the scars left from the punishment the other members of the hunt saw fit to inflict on the half faerie during a visit to his father’s court. any wounds had healed rather quickly of course as he was a member of the hunt but the scars had yet to fade. “there are other good things, even if they are out of your reach.”

he wasn’t entirely sure what to say in response to that. they had been together for a long time and she had been through a lot in that time and knowing that he helped her stay somewhat okay through it was nice. she had certainly helped him to survive the hell that was their world. “right back at you livia, i don’t think i’d still be here without you.” he’d have lost hope and either end himself so they couldn’t get him or give in and just be like his family.
