@thornpr1nc3ss - for zelda!
Grass tickled his nose as he slowly came to, his chin throbbing from where he'd smacked it on the ground. He raised his head to figure out what had happened and why the process of going forward in time, which he'd done countless times before, had felt different this time.
Link pushed himself up and fully took in his surroundings. This isn't the Temple of Time. It looked like a courtyard... but not one that he was familiar with. At least, it wasn't how it should look. The courtyard in his future timeline didn't even exist after Ganondorf completely destroyed it. But there was a castle, and the only castle that it could be was Hyrule Castle. Yet, it shouldn't look like that. It was intact and normal, not the monstrosity that it had become...
This isn't where I'm meant to be.
Link wasn't sure where he was or what had gone wrong to send him off course, but it was clear that there'd been a mistake along the line. Maybe he'd played one of the ocarina notes slightly off and was now in some parallel timeline? Or another world entirely?
"Navi, where are we?"
But he was met with silence and his head shot up, searching for his fairy companion who was nowhere to be found. A sudden panic gripped his heart in its icy clutch, but he fought it back because losing his cool wouldn't get him anywhere. She was probably still back at the Temple of Time and wondering where he'd gone.
All right, time to find out exactly what was going on and how he could get back. However, just as Link turned to find the courtyard's exit, he came face-to-face with a tall and regal figure who stood a short distance away. Immediately, his heart skipped a beat and his jaw dropped, eyes widening.
"Princess Zelda?!"
Had he finally found her?
Its the curse of being the oldest and King Raizen’s only heir. With his time slowly coming to an end he wanted to ensure his inexperienced heir had a modicum of stability and perhaps a strong woman at his side. That’s where Mirajane’s family came to mind, they were political neighbors at best, and perhaps the marital union would bring them closer.
Yusuke on the other hand, just saw it as having his own future snatched away from him. If relations were soo important, then he could have just done that as a prince. Not under the name of their son-in-law. However, the deed is already done, the heir of the demon will be wed to the successor of transformative magic. It was clear that Yusuke was outside of his element at this royal celebration.
But he plays his role as well as he’s expected to, and finally, he’s gotten some time alone with his wife-to-be and offered a form of counter-offering. If they’re stuck in the same boat then rather than make both of them uncomfortable, he might as well learn about her. “Few..I can’t tell ya how you jus’ got a load off my shoulders. Bein’ stuck t’ me is nothin’ anyone wants for the rest of their life but since you are..I figured why not get t’ know ya. I mean I can tell yer more than jus’ a pretty face.” And a pretty face is indeed what she has.
“I’ll even go first, the people don’t know this, but I actually run a restaurant in the city, nothing big or fancy. Well the staff knows about me, but I’ve got that under lock ‘n key. I also do a little basic agricultural practice too. Though that was my old man’s idea..a fighter needs patience yadda yadda. Never thought it’d be fun though.”

[ SMS ] → if it were up to me, i'd be between your legs instead of stuck here in this boring office. - 🐈⬛ lmaoo
@thornpr1nc3ss
His pocket vibrated on his way to the door, wondering who messaged him. Once inside, he went to check his notifications and saw Selina's message which excited him.
[SMS]: Well that can be arranged, maybe during one of your breaks? 👀 Or else we'll just have to wait when you clock out. 😓
Sitting down on the couch before hitting "Send" as the idea of sneaking out turned him on, as well as the mental image of her in office attire.
@thornpr1nc3ss liked for a Chao starter, for Yor!
For once, Chao found himself with a moment of quiet.
The streets were quiet... Well, no, there was definitely bustle, but nothing out of the ordinary. Nobody looked like they were trying to start shit they couldn't finish, and instead people were just coming to and from to go about their day. For once, there was something resembling peace.
... Which puts someone in his position in a bit of an awkward spot. What exactly is one meant to clean the streets do when things seem clean as is?
He's still struggling with that question as we speak, so he's taken up space on a nearby bench to scroll through news on his phone, when one headline catches his attention.
Infamous mobster assassinated on vacation? Yeesh... Hell of a way to go out.
It was hard to feel pity for a mafioso member, but to think they'd get got on a vacation here... It was a little eerie. That probably also explained the relative quiet today, he thought.
Chao gleams through the article, before a shadow looms over his phone and causes his neck to practically jolt up towards the source. Instinctively, his body readies itself for the worst... Only to immediately calm when his brain registers who the figure is.
A woman, with black hair and a casual, average outfit. And furthermore, she didn't look Japanese, likely someone traveling. Certainly not the type of person that would pick a fight with someone like him, he could tell just from a glance.
... Regardless, the hairs on the back of his neck stuck out just a bit. He chalked that up to the timing and not paying enough attention. With an eyebrow raised, he stares up at the woman, his tone quick and to the point.
"There somethin' you need? You don't... look from around here. I ain't a tour guide, if that's what you're wondering."
“i'm all yours ... fuck- all yours” - lina to zack!

"You've been hiding this for days, haven't you." - yor to bankotsu
@thornpr1nc3ss
The accusation hung in the air between them like a blade already drawn, sharp enough that even the wind seemed to hesitate. He stood with his arms loosely crossed, posture relaxed in an entirely deliberate way, as though the weight of what he’d done was nothing more than a passing inconvenience. The small piece of jewelry in question rested somewhere behind him, tucked away, hidden well enough that she should have never found it if she hadn’t been looking at him like that. His eyes flicked up to her face as she was taller than him. Not by much, but enough that it always irritated something faint and prideful in his chest.
Bankotsu exhaled through his nose, slow and controlled, as if the situation itself was mildly amusing rather than immediately exposing. The male shifted his weight slightly, glancing away as if the accusation itself wasn’t worth his full attention. The irony of it wasn’t lost on him. “Days is dramatic,” he said at last, voice flat, almost bored. But there was a thread of something quieter underneath it, something that didn’t quite belong to the usual sharpness in his tone. “It’s not like I stole it.”
His fingers twitched once at his side before he forced them still. The ravenette finally looked back at her, and for a moment the mask almost slipped. A cocky grin slipped over his face as he stepped closer, his leather boots clicking against the floor. "You said, if I found it, you would be grateful. Now, about getting some dinner together?" The whole reason he held on was that he wanted to get closer to this strange woman.
