Lindsey was incredibly brave to speak so openly about what she endured in France. I highly suggest giving this a listen. It does deal with eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and emotional abuse, though so please know that if those are triggering subjects for you.

We as a community need to reconcile the fact that OL Reign and the NWSL organization made the choice to bring this man into their coaching staff when one of the most famous players in the league has openly stated that he abused her.

We also need to have conversations about the narrative of “I’m stronger now because of this” but that is a whole other issue.
