The Factory was having a day off thanks to an outage, and Thorton was anything but upset about it. Constant work everyday got tiring, especially considering the ridiculous amount of tinkering with old gadgets he had to do just to keep patient for others that never came. Now and then, however, he'd remember the days when his genius wasn't put to work in situations like this. When he was teaming up to create things worthwhile.
Unfortunately for him, footsteps in the factory led him to wonder even more. One, of who was there. The place was nearly dead! And two... Where everyone had went in the first place.. And everything.
Whoever was here, he expected knocking from.. But instead was greeted with a disgustingly loud THUD as Thorton jolted up. He reached for the button to open the door, and hesitantly clicked it. The door slowly powered to life, sliding open.
"Oh no..." Thorton gasped. "It.. Can't fucking be.."
"...Omega Infinity."
