What happened to thorvaenn's blog? :(

hey there! diana let me know that her blog was deleted and she’s reached out to tumblr to try to get it reinstated. she definitely didn’t delete it herself--she wants the blog to stay up because it’s a really good resource for fics and gifs, and she invested so much time and talent into it. 

hopefully she’ll have an answer soon!

it’s a huge loss! diana put A Lot of work into that blog, and it stands as a great resource for all things thor and thorki. she is definitely trying to get it back, but she hasn’t heard anything yet. i will let you guys know as soon as i hear something!

now. i haven’t bee active in the thorki fandom for a couple of months now, for very basic boring reasons such as mainly Not Feeling it anymore. then i got deleted in the purge. i’ve had the blog, thorvaenn, previously thorduna (and previously takemetothedungeons if you remember me that far, which several of the amazing friends i’ve made on there do) since i believe 2012, right as i got into the thor fandom when avengers came out. there was a lot of fucking work there, possibly thousands of gifs, hundreds of fic recs, a good solid hundred of fics. i never planned on deleting, i meant to leave it up as a resource and as a good memory.

it’s been over two weeks now and i’ve had no response from tumblr whatsoever, though i tried a couple of times. with the deadline for all adult content being banned approaching, i’m quickly losing hope of getting the blog back at least long enough to pull and preserve some content. my blog was definitely nsfw, not only due to what i reblogged, but what i posted as well - i have used, on many occasions p*rn screencaps to mix in with my thorki gifsets. i also had over 20k followers and according to some app, 3 million notes across my original posts. i’ve been reblogged by spam accounts A Lot and barely ever blocked them because ain’t nobody got time for that. so, bam. seven years of work and fun and memories just gone.

as i mentioned above, i will make an attempt to repost the things i think are the most helpful to the fandom to the thorki pillowfort account, but it won’t be an immediate thing (will do it over time, bit by bit) and i won’t be archiving everything i have in my files, not by a long shot. but it will be something.

on my new accounts i’m doing what i do, making gifs and graphics, reading fic and appreciating some good brotherfucking. nothing much has changed. i write a little, the key idea being that writing just a little is good enough.

so that should be it! sorry for the silence, i know a lot of you were wondering and i wasn’t really planning on connecting my accounts in this way, but with the thorvaenn blog getting purged, i feel it’s right.
