tony had some time on his hands and thor had said he could visit if he wanted now that he was all set up in new asgard. he’d not seen his friend in a while and after their last meeting he figured going to see how he was getting on was probably a wise move.
new asgard wasn’t what he’d expected but it was surprisingly comfortable, maybe even cosy was the right word. but he’d not expected to see loki walking down the same path he was headed in just in the other direction. there was no avoiding him, either he walked or he just stood there and made himself look an idiot. against a trickster he knew the latter was not the better of the two options.
so he started walking, his hands in his pockets and head only partially down because he was clearly eyeballing the god when they became level. he couldn’t just not say anything, his mouth was itching to be opened.
‘ i didn’t expect to see you hanging around these parts, unless thor made a statue in your honor? ’
