Hei! I had a friend tag me in one of your posts, because I have a tag on my blog "Lily learns Finnish" because my name is Lily and... I'm learning Finnish. I think it's pretty funny there are two of us out there! I'm just starting, only about a month in, but having fun with it!
Haha I feel so unoriginal now. Good luck with your studies!
I have an honest question and it's bothered me for a while. I hear writers complaining a lot about likes to reblog ratios, and I understand that (hits to kudos are rough on AO3). But for me (and I think I'm not alone) I want to support other writers but that doesn't mean I want to have it on my blog (I'm not into imagines, but I'm all for people writing hockey). So is it better I don't like things, and I ignore them if I'm not going to reblog? Does liking for the sake of support not... support?
no! liking for support is amazing and we really REALLY do appreciate the likes. The difference between AO3 and here, though, is the way the algorithm is set up. If people don’t reblog our stuff, it basically never gets seen. On AO3 I can click a tag and find stories from 5 years ago and give them love. That’s really not something that’s possible on this site and that’s where it’s frustrating.
Another really frustrating issue that’s suddenly come into play in hockeyblr, if if you aren’t writing for a specific 3 players, people don’t even notice that you’ve posted anything. It’s like being invisible and without the reblogs and constant circulation, it just gets lost. basically, it comes down to the way the tag search is set up on this site v. AO3 and how people find things. This site unfortunately runs on reblogs.

If the Oilers had kept the Todd McFarlane thirds they had a while back, which were smokin' and they never should have dropped, you could actually like the team! 😂
OMG NO LIKE ACTUALLY. i just rewatched the bardown quiz about jerseys and it was brought up in the quiz and those jerseys are actually sick i would deadass buy one. someone did a concept design of that jersey on con and it looked good.

BLESS YOU!!!!! I swear when I looked it wasn’t there, but I have my dash back again!!!!
Your tag story needs at least two thousand more words, please.
AHAHAHAHHAHA I wanna I really do
Thank you so much for rec’ing my fic!
It was so good! I read it at work and had to come home to re-read it (and pull up google translate). Now you have me thinking of how those two could work well in other settings.
