This is not one of my usual, "I collect X & found X" posts. Its way more important. Thats just silly shit in the end. Yeah I dig having stuff, but its whatever at the end of the day. I never really share real shit. Just the stuff I buy to try to fill in that "unfillable void". BUT having said that... Last year I met someone that is so ahead of her time, well read, culturally diverse, she is a true raconteur. Which makes her writing such an insanely great treat to read. Her lyrics, poems, anything she puts on paper is gold. And its just a matter of time before she gets published and then its off to the races and onto the track as they say. Now whether she decides to use her voice along with her writing is yet to be seen, but her voice is equally as impressive as her compositions. But a few weeks back life threw her a curve ball as it can and does. And I mean a fucking hell of a Nolan Ryan change-up of a pitch... And instead of doing what most do around here she did what almost NOBODY does. Especially at her age. She pulled her shit together and within a week and a half she got an ID, looked for and found a job and started it. I am so fucking proud of her. There is a ton of negative vibes out there and yeah I am responsible for a gaggle of em. But this just had to be shared. I wouldn't disclose any personal info, its not my place to do so. But so many would go a diff way. Hell, most males around here won't even work. They find a chick to keep them up and brag about how "gangsta" they are. Thats a real "Al Capone lifestyle ya got there, brah. But life gave her lemons and she is squeezing lemonaide, she got lemon pie in the oven, she is making those delicious lil sugar coated hard lemon candies & whatever else that is awesome and lemon. And on top of that, she walks 3 miles after her shift just to go home and kick her shoes off. Now THAT is fuckin' gangsta. She handled her shit all on her own. And she never ceases to amaze me.
