It would probably come as a surprise to Thoth that Dio hasn’t thought about them sexually—but despite all he’s said to fuck with Thoth, he hasn’t ever thought of them that way. He shares a sort of a strange, one-sided intimacy with Thoth in that way: one of a small number he’s never put conscious thought into sexualizing, and one of an even smaller number who achieved that result without also achieving the god’s derision. Thoth doesn’t, can’t, know it…but they’ve seen a side of Dio long forgotten by the mortal world, a side he can only hope is deeper buried in Thoth’s memory than in his own.

“I’ve always wondered if their stare is as vacant giving head as it is every other time I talk to them, or if that’s a special stare only I get.”

That doesn’t mean he won’t pretend he’s had illicit thoughts, of course.

Dio sighs and rolls his eyes. He seems to be doing that a lot lately; maybe it’s time to spend less time with Thoth. At least the insults won’t be so predictable—whether that speaks to time spent together or to Thoth’s repertoire of insults is up to debate.

He’s learned a new one he’s been wanting to try, though, and now’s as good a time as any. Dio throws a flirtatious smile over his shoulder with a wink.

“You wanna fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid.”

Dio sighs. This is just…entirely too easy. Almost cheating, really.

But if he’s reading this right….

“A friend of a friend taught me this game and how to play it—and if I learned it from him right (and I’m pretty sure I did, but he’s a real master, so it’s hard to tell without him around), you’re, uh. Embarrassingly easy to peg.

“The answer’s ‘sensory deprivation,’ by the way. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. Maybe a little bit of light bondage—nothing crazy, y’know, but, uh. Enough to keep you from being able to unblind yourself easily. I’d also argue for tantric sex, but that’s a sort of given when you’re long enough lived.

“So!” Dio grins, leaning back and crossing one leg over the other, careful not to spill his wine. “Am I right, or am I right?”

Dio stumbles back as if hit, turning an outraged and insulted face in Thoth’s direction.

“Just what the fuck do you think I’ve been doing this whole time?!” Dio stares at them as if they’ve sprouted new feathers and a third head. “Like, literally this whole time. From the moment I returned to Greece—from before I even got back! Why don’t you participate in a bisexual idea every once in a while?!”

Dio rolls his eyes heavenwards and thinks.

“—Depends,” he finally answers candidly. “I’m not opposed to smashing, but they can be a picky little prick. Honestly, if someone less fuddy and more duddy is available, Thoth’s not cracking my top five.

“It’s not like they aren’t worth it—almost any god is—but between the nagging, the nay-saying, the negging…Thoth just makes the work too hard and not exactly enjoyable. Maybe if they were the pursuer….”
