Tamralan for Emma:
Most would say Emma is not very expressive, that she wears an impartial mask and has no feelings. I disagree. She is very expressive, but you have to know where to look, how to spot it. What she doesn’t say in words, she says in her actions. She makes a point to bring at least two apples home because she knows I love apples, and eating them together is our thing. When the frigid cold leaves me in a foul mood, she stays close and lets me lean on her to soak up the heat she just radiates out. When she passes by, her hand brushes against my own, or my arm, or shoulder, a wordless greeting to let me know she’s there and thinking of me. And there is a spark in her eyes that I am blessed to see, more dazzling than a wide smile could ever be, and when she smiles, she only shines that much brighter. Thelrand on Rexus:
God, he’s such an asshole. A sexy fuckable asshole. He only wants one thing out of me and I’m loathe to admit it, but I would give it to him every time he asked without question. I could do better. I can do better, but... Damn.
Sylathi on Lux:
It’s harder to find someone more infectious and pure than him. I could show him the most mundane thing and he would get so excited and tell me a least a dozen facts about it and now I love it, too. He makes you fall in love with life and the little details that come with it. I had struggled with not being able to hug him at first because everyone back home was very open with their affections. But I learned to show how much I care and love him in different ways and it’s fun. Lux is fun and the best friend you could ever have.
