Parker buying Arthur a piano for his birthday, while presumably, being in debt to the mob, and him knowing and accepting that Arthur would probably never play for him…..someone sedate me I will never recover

I wish the love people have for birds like penguins or “insert popular bird here” showed that same love towards vultures. They deserve so much more appreciation and respect than we give them.

They are just as beautiful, and interesting as any other bird. By ignoring them, we harm the animals vultures benefit and we harm ourselves.

This is a very small thing I thought was funny. I like that in both movies the main characters utilize tape. The fact that it’s different types of tape, and that the characters experience vastly different success rates with the tape, is funny to me.

Simon unsuccessfully using medical tape to help himself navigate the blood ocean. I mean it does hold up his maps, but after a while blood works just as good.

Grace basically doing a duck tape ad with how often he uses it to complete a task. Duck tape was an essential ingredient for his survival LOL.

I can’t wait for, the man John actually killed, and the man John tried to trick Arthur into killing, out of jealousy, which led into a metaphorical killing as Arthur sacrificed ever having a relationship with him, are in the same room.

I’m so glad they both don’t know the full truth. This is going to be a very normal, healthy, and drama free get together. YIPPIE!!!

I'm going feral over Arthur being so determined to kill Wallace. It’s literally all because Arthur sees himself in Wallace. He is a perfect mirror for Arthur, and it upsets him because he doesn’t want to acknowledge the reality that he is also a monster. It just helps his cope that Wallace is a lot more honest in how much of a terrible person he is.

Wallace sacrificing his daughter is just the nail in the coffin for Arthur’s insecurities. Deep down, he probably feels like he did the same with Faroe. Wallace is who Arthur is afraid he will become and or is already becoming. Wallace makes Arthur question whether he is still human. So the only option in his mind is to kill Wallace, to keep himself protected from the reality of his situation, but to also validate the cope that he’s not nearly as evil as him.

Wallace and Arthur are also great ways to view “Yellow” and John. You can look at them how Arthur perceives them, one being a soulless monster, and the other being John. Which just shows more of Arthur’s broken logic, insecurities and fears. But also shows how much John has grown vs how much Arthur has regressed. John doesn’t fight his origin, he fully accepts that who he used to be was not kind or human. He acknowledges his flaws, and doesn’t fight accountability. John isn’t perfect, and he knows that, he knows he is a part of The King in Yellow, and killing Yellow won’t take away his own sins. It’s about acceptance, change, and growth.

I also love that it’s like John is having to deal with his own Yellow, like current Arthur is his Yellow. Someone who has forgotten their humanity, is lashing out because of fear, and is causing problems for a once of control. John is now in early Arthur's shoes, he has to take up the role to teach Arthur how to be human.

All of this with the added element of Arthur self sabotaging for his goal of killing Wallace. If Wallace must die for his sins so does he.
