Isadora Capri, Alfie Penn and The Hyde Attacks
There is just too much to say about this article and Penn's killings and attacks, too many theories and questions swarming my brain. I am sorry, this is going to be a long post with more than will inevitably follow. I'm nerding out.
If you can't read what the article below says, which is the one Wednesday found after snooping through Ms. Capri's desk, I will write it out below in pink, and then a bullet-point summary in purple, you choose which to read:
'Deranged outcast artist shot dead by swat team
The saga of Outcast artist Alfie Penn reached a tragic conclusion late last night. After disappearing three weeks ago, the painter was found in a psychotic state at the Roosevelt County Landfill. When he refused to cooperate with authorities, he was killed by a state-ordered SWAT team.
This ends what was supposed to be a transformative summer for the artist. By all accounts, Penn was in good spirits when he took up residence at the Joplin Art Colony in Woodstock to develop his next solo exhibition. Cut off from the outside world, he focused on his creative ventures and ignored potential distractions, including a string of grisly deaths of fellow local artists. It eventually came to light that Penn himself was responsible for these deaths, under the hypnotic thrall of his agent, the controversial art impresario Minerva Garrick.
Complicating matters further was the revelation that Penn was a Hyde, a rare classification of Outcast capable of physically unleashing their inner rage and transforming into an imposing alternate form.
The situation took an even darker turn when Penn accidentally killed Garrick and brutally injured his final victim, renowned cellist Isadora Capri. After this incident, Penn disappeared into the woods of Catskill Park. Locals reported sightings of him raiding everything from convenience stores to livestock pens for...continued on page 7'
Alfie Penn's agent, and controversial art impresario, Minerva Garrick was Penn's master.
Penn was found after disappearing for 3 weeks.
Penn's refusal to cooperate with authorities lead to his death.
Minerva had ordered Penn to kill fellow local artists (why? Maybe to eliminate local competition? Not sure.)
(Ms. Capri, when talking to Wednesday, claims that Minerva ordered Penn to kill her, but here it does not explicitly say that she told him to, which means either the article left it out, or Ms. Capri was fabricating the truth, Just a theory.) Penn ends up brutally injuring Isadora Capri.
Isadora is mentioned here as a cellist, not a pianist.
Since the article did not explicitly say that Minerva Garrick ordered Alfie Penn, the man that Isadora thought loved her, to kill her, as I mentioned above, we can assume a few things;
That Isadora made that part up for multiple reasons, either to cope with the fact that the man she was with seriously hurt her, or because
Not to mention that since Minerva was killed before Isadora was injured, how could Penn have been ordered to attack Isadora? Don't worry, this could easily be explained by the possibility of Minerva ordering the attack on Isadora prior to her own death. If this was the case, then we can assume that Minerva wanted Isadora dead like the other local artists for a reason, which again, could just be to eliminate local competition, or what if that was just what they want us to think? What if there is more to it? what if this whole chain of events was why Isadora as we, the audience, know her is a pianist, and no longer a cellist?
So far, we can only speculate why Isadora is no longer seen playing the cello. Of course, there could be a simple explanation, such as the fact that she might associate the cello with such a traumatic time of her life. But then why did she become a music teacher, surrounded by cellists, such as Wednesday Addams, constantly forced to remember her past? Then what else could it be? Maybe the cello is somehow dangerous to her, not in the traumatic sense, but Minerva clearly wanted her to stop playing for a reason...
If we're running with my theory that Minerva wanted Isadora to stop playing the cello, then what where the other local artists playing? Why was Minerva determined to kill them all? Was it merely to eliminate local competition? It must go deeper than this.
Ugh, Isadorable Capri, I love you, you did not deserve this (3 apples tall btw)
