I made a Joy Ang style base with dragons from The Hybrid Prince

Disclaimer! This is just my impression, and it may turn out differently in reality. I was just curious to try drawing the Wildwings (as I understand it, that's their name) in Joy Ang's style, since we've seen them in a different style so far.

The base has fills and separate layers for shadows and patterns to simplify coloring. This is a fanmade base, so please do not mislead people and mark works made with this base as spoilers for Book 16 until it's released!

Some of the family trees are difficult for me to read on the wiki so i drew them out (also to explain the wildness of WoF to a friend)

I wish i could have made the generations more lined up in the IceWing tree one but there was just so much i had to say “fuck it we ball”

Read the excerpt for The Hybrid Prince a few times and Im super excited for it to come out, especially if it means I can get to learn more about beryl cause ORUGHHHH SHE INTRIGUES MEEE

I wanna know what got her on Scarlet’s radar for dragons she wanted dead, its most probably because she had a hybrid child (Mulberry) but idk maybe theres more to it

Also the very short snippet we see of her in the THP excerpt is sooooooo, something is so fishy and Im loving it so much something just doesnt seem right, especially with how Mulberry was acting and how she was acting and ORUGHHH I WANNA KNOW MOREEEE Somethings so fishy and while I wont say for sure that Beryl could be a villian I do think she’ll have some,, problems. What Im thinking for rn is maybe something similar to Eternal Sugar from CRK (and maybe Mulberry as Pavlova) IDK IDKKK GUESS WE’LL SEE WHEN MORE ABOUT THE BOOK IS REVEALED
