event 01 ; fear.
Panic swelled up in Ava's chest, constricting her breathing, making it hard for her to swallow the air she so dearly needed. Shoving through branches and trees and anything that got in her way, her vision blurred with the liquid flame that was bubbling throughout her, but she couldn't control it this time, not now, not after one of those experiments had spotted her.
It was chasing her.
Only the thought of being eaten, even if it wasn't plausible, spilled through her mind-- completely disregarding any magma that may have fallen on the grass below her. This beast was different from the one she had seen earlier, it was no wolf-- it was like a bear, a bear that wanted to get her for one sick reason or the other. Ava couldn't die but she sure as hell could feel pain, and she didn't want to be ripped apart only to find she'd still be alive after all the pain she'd been put through. But, the smell of smoke caught in her nose and she swallowed thickly, peeking behind her and letting out a squeak for a moment before promptly shutting her mouth. Lava was spilling again, patches of smoke were coming from the grass she had ran through and it wasn't stopping the bear.
Ava wasn't able to run anymore.
Falling with a thud onto the grass, the green blades immediately turning to black upon contact with her hands, she shuffled backwards and tried to maintain distance, but the beast staring back at her wasn't helping. Screaming sounded good, but she was already causing smoke to billow all around her and setting a full on fire wouldn't be wise-- a lot of people would surely die. But maybe, just maybe, risking opening her mouth was worth it if her shaking legs had anything to do with it.
"... H-Help me...!!"
