Delores.....................honestly makes Sal into a good person over the years. It’s not a swift transition, but a gradual one that even continues in their elderly years. I’m writing out (EMOTIONALLY CHARGED REPLY #1!) and its like, if Delores died sacrificing herself for @hammurabicomplex​? Sal’s pissed as hell. He’d go as far to think, ‘I hate this girl.’

However, he wouldn’t betray or backstab Pat in the aftermath because? He knows it’s what Delores would never want. Sure, Delores isn’t alive to say: ‘Sal, don’t do that’ but her influence on him is strong enough for him to think about that.
