I have such a hard time cutting fabric on the grain line! After using scissors for awhile I'm thinking about investing in a rotary cutter as my next tool purchase since I've heard they make life a little easier. My husband got a bunch of sanding tools for free that someone was going to get rid of. So I'm kind of excited to try those out on some future props. I am planning a costume at the moment. I will be waiting until we're pretty settled down in Idaho to start on it though. I'll just say that it will be a character that wears armor and a bodysuit. She also has a big ass weapon! Guess who? :P
