Avery was passing by on his way home. Usually, it would be a lot later but he'd had to cater an early wedding reception and though he'd really been like a ship passing in the night with his neighbor Skylar, he thought it best to be friendly when he had his opportunity.
"Happy Saturday," he said as he passed, wondering if the man would even respond.
