It was her second shift of the day - after working a long shift at Quick Fix. And when Amelia saw that she was on shift with Ashley Jackson, Amelia winced. It was exactly the last person she wanted to work with it. She liked Ashley - a lot - but after her confession, she wasn’t someone she wanted close. There would be no doubt questions asked and that demanded answers. Walking behind the bar, she began to set up for her shift, wiping down the bar when Ashley came into the shift. “Hey - last shift left a mess so it looks like it’s going to be a long night.” Hopefully, the conversations could stay in this lane.
