     The male let his gaze fall to the ground in front of him, and he started to laugh bitterly. He moved his sapphire gaze up to look up into the other’s amethyst eyes, his gaze growing empty. “My new roommate, huh? Well, you better get comfortable. It looks like you’re going to be staying here for a while.” The one thing Rin couldn’t understand was what he had done wrong. What had he done to deserve his capture, and why was Guren of all people punishing him? He could have sworn Guren knew him through Yuu and Rise, and he knew for a fact that they had spoken more than once or twice. “My parents may not care enough about me, but I know someone close to you who will come to help me....” He said quietly, his gaze now dropping back to the old brick floor. “Do you not remember me, Guren?...”

Cal paced anxiously around the cell, trying to figure out how she had gotten there. She knew how she had gotten there, but she didn't know know. Or that was how she reasoned it to herself. She was frustrated. She had been in the middle of a fight with another metahuman when the Flash had shown up. And sure, it had probably looked bad, what, with the guy bleeding and Cal's teeth buried in his arm. So in an instant she found herself in a cell, who knew where.

She'd been there for two days at this point and didn't seem to be getting out anytime soon. Who knew the Flash had a prison? "I'm not a violent person!" she yelled. "I'm really not!"

Caged

Doom never liked spies. He tolerated S.H.I.E.L.D. and other organisations solely because they proved useful for information and as distractions. However, there were days where he was sorely tempted to dismantle these organisations swiftly and decisively.

It was one of those days for the latter.

Gazing out of the window of his embassy office, Doom set aside a glass of half-drunk wine and glared down at the bright, well-kept lawn as his door opened.

From the reflection on the window, he saw a familiar red-haired agent being led into the room by a pair of guards. He knew she was only caught because she wanted to and that did not settle well with him.

Waiting until he heard the door to his office close, Doom turned around and crossed his arms over his chest. His eyes narrowed at the sight of his guest with undisguised hostility and suspicion.

"Agent Romanoff, to what does Doom owe the pleasure?" The words were polite, but the tone hinted at his desire to be anything, but civil.
