Micah was leaving work for his lunch, having decided to use it to take a walk. He loved the fresh air. As he walked he noticed someone who looked extremely familiar. He couldn't help but smile when he fully realized who she was. He'd hoped she'd show up in DC one day, knowing it was a possibility. He walked over to her, beaming. He'd missed her dearly, especially since their daughter looked so much like her. He couldn't wait to tell her about Gemma. "Fallon! I can't believe it's really you."

Micah was excited to get to have a date with Fallon. He was so happy that his family was back together. He smiled when Fallon came downstairs. "Wow. You look amazing. I think you're going to like what I have planned for tonight. And Gemma has already been dropped off at her friends."

Fallon, much like Ludo herself, was more than used to an Italian father harping on the importance of proper manners and charisma, especially in a setting like this. Unlike Fallon, Ludo hadn’t dealt with that in quite some time – but the principles were deeply ingrained in her memory. She doesn’t know ninety percent of the people in attendance. The only reason she’s here at all is for moral support, really. “My cheeks hurt from smiling,” she complains as she touches up her lipstick in the mirror, finally relaxing her fake grin in the solace of the women’s restroom. “I don’t even want anything from these fuckers and I still feel like I need their approval.” Her eyes meet Fallon’s in the mirror. “I know this is for charity and whatnot, but I bet you could snag some investors for yourself. That guy in the blue suit was staring at you for a half hour straight.”
