Friend || Kaiden + Lexus
Her heart was a time bomb ticking away in her chest. Black tears streamed down her face as Lexus sprinted to Kaiden’s office. As she barged into the room, she prayed he hadn’t gone home for the night and on any other night she would have asked why he hadn’t gone home yet because it was eight fourty-five but tonight, she couldn’t find the words. Lexus’ only thought was how relieved she was to see him still here. A greatful sob escaped her lips as she started to finally break down in front of him. White teeth bit down on her dark red lips as she tried to control herself.
"He—he doesn’t—" She was hysterical. Lexus was hardly even breathing. She was too overwhelmed! How could she even say the words? He doesn’t love me! He doesn’t love me, he doesn’t love the baby! All he loves is himself and I—I was so—stupid! Lexus shook her head, swallowing the lump in her throat.
The nineteen year old walked over to him as tears fell slightly from her eyes as she bit harder into her lip. For a moment she almost feared she’d draw blood like she had a few times before but it didn’t matter. She had to stop crying so hysterically. Her hand found Kaiden’s pulling on him gently.
"Come on." She whispered, voice cracking. Now she interlocked both hands with his and pulled harder, desperate. "Please!" Another sob wracked through her fragile frame. "Please, Kaiden, please. I—I need you." Her voice broke, tears falling quicker. "I need you." I need a friend.
"You gotta get me out. We gotta go. You gotta me out."
