@mayarparker Ben hadn’t been back in town long, but he quickly fell back into his rhythm of walking to the cafe and getting his coffee every morning. Walking into the cafe he got his black coffee before turning around and seeing a familiar face. “Hi, it’s Maya right?” He asked as he stepped forward, of course he remembered but he was trying to play it down just in case she hadn’t remembered him. “How are you today?”

Whenever he had free time, which less face it he didn’t have a lot of, Ben enjoyed playing video games, or if the weather was nice, being outside. He love running and hiking and how it helped clear his mind, and just made him feel better in general. Today he was trying out a new trail, holding out a proper paper map as he walked along he was so distracted by folding it up and putting it in his pocket that he didn’t look up until last second when he was colliding with another body. His hands instinctively shot out to the person to help steady them if needed. “Shit, my bad." He stood back after a second and shook his head, “I’m sorry I should’ve been paying more attention. Are you okay?”
