Seth still couldn’t believe that of all the towns him and his friends had decided to move to that it would be the exact same one that his ex was living in. He mentally kicked himself for not remembering the name of the small town well enough from when they were together so he could’ve avoided seeing her. Even after all this time, it still hurt even more so when he'd seen her face-to-face after she walked into him and he’d barely been able to catch himself at the sight of her. He’d done what he could to avoid her since then but as he walked out of the diner, he could see her approaching and knew there was no way he could just simply go another way to not see her. Plus this time, she’d seen him too. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he inhaled deeply as the door to the diner shut behind him and he pressed his lips together. “Hi.” Seth muttered quietly as they began to cross each others path. @qvietwhispers​

“You have the nicest neighbors,” Seth proclaimed as he came in, the apartment seeing Naomi. He had always been a social butterfly, ready to make conversation with anyone that smiled at him. He loved meeting people, learning their stories. Whether at a cafe or store he usually ended up chatting away with someone. That had been the case as he was in the hallway, coming back from the market, catching one of Naomi’s neighbors outside. Well, their neighbors now. “I was talking to Heather and she had no idea we were married and now she said she wanted to make us a pie,” he smiled at the news, putting the bag of groceries down. “Marriage pie. If I knew that was a thing I would have gotten married way sooner.” Seth moved over to Naomi to give her a hello kiss.

10: My muse sings your muse a lullaby before bed

Maybe she was more than a little wasted, and maybe it was five in the morning, and maybe she smelled vaguely of alcohol and cigarettes, but, in Cherry's currently altered state of mind, none of this really seemed to be a bad thing. Though, then again, she also believed to having been silent from the moment she walked through the front door, even if she walked into at least two pieces of furniture and dropped her shoes to the floor not delicately at all, all but stumbling towards the room she currently shared with Seth.

Going from shedding most of her clothes and brushing her teeth also wasn't exactly a silent operation, something that only dawned upon her when she was crawling into bed and covering her cousin's face in somewhat sloppy kisses only to realize he'd been awake prior to her moving into bed with him. "Oh. I didn't mean to wake you up," the girl said, a giggle to every pause and a slur to her words that made absolutely no confusion about her current state of mind. "Shh, lie down. Go back to sleep. I'll sing to you," she continued, wrapping an arm around him before clearing her throat. "Sing me to sleep, sing me to sleep. I'm tired and I want to go to bed," she started, voice somewhat scratchy and an absolute lack of regard for keeping her tone steady, making it an even less pleasant experience than it was already.
