“ I’m pretty sure that you tried to kill me once when I was a Widow,” Sonia hummed from where she was laying on their shared couch. It was water under the bridge of course, from a time when her life hadn’t even been her own. She could hardly hold that against him when she would have done the exact same if someone had told her too. “ I only bring it up cause I think its funny that we’re roommates now and also because I ate the last piece of pizza.” 

 So maybe she wasn’t the best roommate, but part of having freedom was doing what you wanted and if she wanted to push Billy’s buttons just a little bit than she would.

Mandripoor was chaotic and lawless. It was the opposite of the Red Room environment, but she found that she liked it. It was easy to thrive, all you had to do was stay under the radar and she had always excelled at that. Right now they’re only going after the little fish but if you asked Sonia it was a good enough start. The fewer traffickers the better and when she was ready they could always take out the higher profile targets.

“ You know I had that last guy right where I wanted him right?” she said speaking into the earpiece that kept her in connection with Billy. Sonia pulled her hood over head before disappearing into the crowded street. “ But it was still a pretty good shot,” she admitted with a small smirk as she turned to face the spot where he had been set up. “ First one back to the apartment is a rotten egg?” she joked lightly.

There Will Be Silence in the Library! (CA Closed | Sonia)

It was one of those quiet afternoons, after the dust had settled and District Six's insane inferno (that the scientists had done nothing to mitigate) had faded, that brought Snowdrift to the library once more. The first time had been at the side of his good friend Nagisa.

This time...he was looking for a different sort of book. Not an encyclopedia, but...something on the martial techniques of the humans. It was a compendium...or so he'd been assured. Unfortunately, it was twenty feet off the ground, and the book was so large that the first person who'd offered to help Snowdrift reach it had simply given up.

He rolled his eyes and set to work himself, clambering on the rickety scaffold-whatever-it-was-the-humans-called-it to reach the book in question. Unfortunately for him...it was squeaking quite a bit under each of Snowdrift's three hundred forty-some pounds, and every time it made a particularly loud squeak, the librarians cast a particularly unhappy stare in his direction.

Snowdrift couldn't help it. He reached for the book and plucked it from its place. Tucking it to his chest, the Pandaren descended...each step he took provoking another groan or squeak from the scaffold.
