Danny had set his alarm for the first time since he couldn’t remember when, not that he had slept much that night, but those brief few hours were cut even shorter when his alarm went off around five. The morning of his sisters birthday and he had plans, granted his plans weren’t amazing and probably not of much monumental proportion, but the thought was there and he just wanted to do something for his sister. Especially after all she did for him.
So he had spent the morning decorating the apartment in streamers, balloons and any sort of party gear he could found until the place look like a pound store threw up in their living room. He then started on breakfast, and that’s how she found him, shirtless and covered in flour, stood over the hob with a grin on his face when he saw her. “Happy Birthday, Sis.” He beamed, walking over to her, spatula in hand as he placed a big and rather sloppy kiss to her cheek.
