Cleo: didn't bother to respond to Connor's last texts, instead she just grabbed the overnight bag she'd thrown together and a bottle of vodka left over from her party and ran down to meet him in her driveway, climbing into the car as soon as it pulled to a stop. "Right!" she exclaimed as soon as she was in the car, quickly buckling her seatbelt so they could take off again. "She tried denying that she was into him too but as soon as I pushed her on it she admitted it and still acted like I was the bad guy. It makes NO sense. And she tried to tell me I was the illogical one."

( @connormann / con’t from here ) Cleo lets out a soft sigh of relief at Connor’s assurance that she could stay with him. She didn’t think he would turn her away, but it was nice to know for certain she had somewhere to stay until she figured things out. “The spare room would be perfect,” Cleo responds with a little nod, but she stops at his next question, grimacing slightly. “Uh, no,” she responded awkwardly. “Everything happened sorta quickly, so I kinda just left. I’m gonna try to go back tomorrow while Mom and Dad are at work to try to get some stuff, but,” she shrugs, gesturing to the clothes she’s currently wearing. “In the meantime, this is all I’ve got.”
Cleo: shook her head, feeling as though Connor was misunderstanding her. “I just mean, like, I know you’re busy with other stuff, so you don’t have to. Really, you’ve already done so much for me. You do so much for me.” Now that she thought of it, she wasn’t sure why Connor was even so nice to her, especially after everything she’d pulled with Alexa. “I should probably know where it is,” Cleo pointed out. “In case I need more in the middle of the night or something.”

Gemini: shook her head. “That was pure dumb luck,” she assured him, “although my hand-eye coordination isn’t bad so maybe I’m better than I thought I was.” She watched as he took his shot. She may have only had one drink but being as small as she was, she was already pretty buzzed. She was enjoying it though. The alcohol and the boy in front of her were good distractions from her tangled web of friends and family. “Hm, well maybe this’ll become my regular bar if it’s got your recommendation,” she said, giving him a smile as she went to line up her shot. “Just San Francisco,” she answered, hitting the cue ball and just nearly missing her shot. “I’m going to USC in the fall for dance.”
