@divinelygifted; for alaric to get into a little bit of trouble
Honestly he should have expected this outcome. People could never resist snooping around. Now, Eric had caught one red-handed, but he was still deciding what to do with the man in question — besides, it wasn’t just his decision alone.
The locale had been rather prestige and highly sought after, especially since it had a high traffic, and thus it made perfect sense to open up a gym as a front for smuggling drugs right here. It was simple enough, renovating, buying the equipment, hiring staff and fitness trainers and paying them well enough that they don’t end up going where they’re supposed to be. Or at least that was the way it should have been. “Alaric, was it? Now, I see you’ve got yourself into a bit of a bind. Got a lil’ too nosy.” The mafia boss had cornered the man in the back room where he’d inevitably found the goods, but he didn’t even so much as glance at the other, instead concentrating on typing away at his phone. Once the message was sent, Eric looked back up, his smile patronising, “Honestly, you could have just stuck to your job and maybe avoided all this mess.”
