Visiting the Celadon City Gym Leader was often a test of his willpower. The fact of the matter was that, as a Fire-Type Gym Leader himself, he felt almost frightened of going into the woman's gym, scared of somehow setting the place ablaze.
How beautiful it would have been, had he actually hated the woman.
Erika was always a kind and patient woman, that much he could remember. Blaine made it a point to visit his fellow Kanto Gym Leaders every once in a while at the least, to enhance friendships and strengthen ties with people. It was something he found himself doing when he was bored, a way to entertain himself, as well as the people he would visit.
He walked into the Gym after a few moments, glancing around for the woman. "Erika?" He called out, waiting around the reception area while leaning on his cane. "I brought a peace offering, I thought maybe we could chat for a little bit." The item in question was a small potted flower, a bright orange one.
