“Okay so... You saw that too right?” Hiro had only been making his way home from his later classes when he saw it. The sun disappeared behind the horizon just about an hour ago, and the streets were lit up with street lamps and blinking open signs hanging in windows. Closer to the back roads--the alleyway short cuts--he found himself smacking straight into the side of a stranger and not even a second after his quick apology, a black object flew out from underneath a dumpster and smashed into a trashcan, only to then disappear in the shadows once more. Hiro now finds himself wishing he had his gear...and Baymax.
“What the heck was that thing...”

“Okay listen... in the event of a disaster like, I dunno, a rocket exploding in your garage, it’s totally normal for worksheets to burn up-- I mean, it’s better to say that than ‘Oh the dog ate it’...I have a cat.” Hiro rolled his eyes and spun around in the chair, fully expecting his Professor to be the one standing in the doorway. However, his speech was made for the wrong ears as a completely different person had wandered into his work space. “Oh--! Uh..” He stood up and awkwardly moved the microbot sitting on his desk as if that would make this seem any less weird to the girl. He was never good at first interactions ...
“..hey uh... you lost or...somethin’?” nice.
“P-Pardon me um,” Sydney isn’t quite sure how he should make his approach. This girl seemed to be minding her own business; she probably didn’t want some stranger bothering her. Oh but he was so lost. He should never have wandered off on his own today.
“Could you help me? Even if just for a moment...”
“ If I were you, I wouldn’t stand so close to that machine.” Being a responsible adult was stupid and it would never stop him from causing mischief. He was currently tinkering with a vending machine so that it spits everything out -- and if he does something wrong the circuitry could explode... “Stand like...four feet that way.”

“Niichan, where are you going--”
Shiemi reached out for the small Greenman but he seemed to avoid her attempts to stop him from hopping off of her shoulder and onto the ground. In the garden she normally wouldn’t mind her familiar wandering off to appreciate the flowers but in the middle of a public area where people were going about their day was where she wanted Niichan to stay close. Alas, the tiny demon has taken a liking to another person and proceeds to climb up their attire as if it was completely normal. Shiemi was so embarrassed weather this person could see him or not.
“Niichan.” She tries to whisper but it’s very obvious she’s now hissing at this man’s shoulder. “Niichan come back.”

Shiemi isn’t usually one to burst into someone’s bubble out in public. She grew up closed off and quite shy around new faces so, of course, expanding her world and getting out on her own was still a scary thing to do. She always felt at ease with one of her friends at her side, but today she was shopping for ingredients to bake cookies with all by herself!
It’s when she notices a sale on mint leaves that she gets sidetracked from her mission. She reaches for a bag to gather the greens but her hand runs into that of another; A girl with hair that reminded her of a Teacher of her’s.
“Ah!”
The Exwire is distracted yet again. “Your hair is so pretty Miss!”
"So I've gone through all of our movie selections and I have made a difficult decision. What I have here tonight, in my hands, for us to watch is....hold for dramatic pause--" Hiro held up the DVD cover for the old classic 'The Exorcist' with a smug grin on his face. "Ta-daa!"
