The first thing that popped into his head was to run at her, hug her, greet her like an old friend........ it took him a long moment to remember that she.. didn’t actually know who he was. Not like this.
So instead, he approached slowly. As though they were merely strangers, crossing paths by complete accident. He didn’t want to admit it, but... he wanted to talk to her again. He just didn’t know how on earth he could make her stay when she didn’t know him.
“.....hey there,” he figured that was as good a start as any. A smile, something non-threatening. His weapons were all sheathed or out of sight; there was no reason she shouldn’t respond positively... although, the fact of his being a complete stranger might put a bit of a pause on things. But he hoped not. He had never made many actual friends, and he didn’t want something as minimal as appearing a different species to scare this one away. He would just have to start over - he’d done it once, so he really saw no reason why he couldn’t befriend her again.
