“....oh wow, is it really my birthday tomorrow??! I didn’t even realize!!”
It wasn’t often that time slipped away from the princess like this - but things around the castle had been so very busy lately that she hadn’t had much time for things like party planning... or anything of the sort, really.
Oh well. There was always next year... right?

“Vivi!!! Viiii!!” The uncommonly large pink butterfly appeared in a daze from seemingly nowhere, and was almost immediately all over the first human he spotted. The man was decked out in green and minding his own business when the Vivillion rushed him. He grabbed at a sleeve, tugging the human towards the bushes he had just flown out of himself with all the strength in his little body.
It wasn’t far from here that his trainer had fallen - and while the Bug-Type knew she wasn’t hurt too badly, he still wanted her to get help as quickly as possible. She had sprained her ankle, after all, and none of her Pokémon were strong enough to carry her back to town to have it looked at. Their best bet was a kind human who would be willing to help out, and he could only hope that this man in green fit the bill. Otherwise, they would all really be in trouble.
