I guess I’m not Sleeping
As the screen in front of him powered down the Lord found himself in the room with no other people or sounds. The video introduction of what had happened to him had already finished playing so all that was left to do was to leave the room, check the board on the wall for housing, and head off into this new city.
But it’d be wrong to say that was all that was left to do when it came to the Lord, as in his case this was only the beginning.
“What an interesting creation! That seemed like a human on the wall. What a cool thing they did! To think, Nobles are still writing down everything and humans are having moving pictures on walls with voices.” Though royal as his image and attire projects him, the blonde was not good at projecting it once you gave him a second glance. Even as he spoke he was excitedly looking up and down the flat screen television trying to figure out how it works and what made it be able to make moving pictures and sound of all things!
Sure, he should be worried about not having gone into Ragnarok as he expected but this was much too exciting to pass up; at least for now.
And it probably took hours before he finally left that white room, whistling as happily as can be. Hopefully he didn’t break the television for the next person who entered that room but he might.
“So I am staying,” he started as he looked for his name on the wall “in District, uh Delta is it? Oh interesting! Seems I won’t be staying in one of those uh buildings in the middle. Instead I’m living under, hm sector 4.” It seemed easy enough. Walk around a giant city finding district 4 and find a way under it and then he can see his new home.
Or he could just travel around unnecessarily and see what this place had to offer. He really would prefer to do the latter. And with no care in the world of rank, status, title, or self respect the tall Lord was now on a journey to find the nearest person to consult.
