@ second chance thrift
open to everyone
"Oh, that's .... really something," Mar commented as she flicked through the rack of dresses. A few too many videos of other people scoring big on their thrift store hauls had convinced her that she, too, could find a hidden gem if only she tried hard enough. So far the search had been fruitless, but she found she enjoyed looking at the fashion that people were finally letting go of. She'd seen quite a few pairs of bootcut jeans already.
This dress in particular looked like it hadn't seen the light of day since the 80s, which would be intriguing if the cut of the skirt wasn't completely bizarre. Mar picked up the hanger and held it out in front of her, observing the dress at different angles before gently placing it back on the rack. Someone would end up loving it, she was sure, but it wouldn't be her. Not today.
"Is it just me, or does it feel incredibly weird to see trends that were popular in high school come back in style again?" she asked as she eyed a babydoll tee. "I really thought I'd have at least ten more years before I saw my old style make a comeback."
She snagged another tee shirt and held it up so the person next to her could see the "i always end up on top" shirt she found. "What do you think, should we bring this back?"
